DD Allen is performing a full band show exclusively for the 2021 AUB (Arts University Bournemouth) Freshers.

Organised in collaboration with the AUB community and Madding Crowd, the event welcomes 300 first-year students to Bournemouth.

As an avid arts and film fan, DD Allen is a passionate advocate for creative talent.

And AUB is a premier destination for the next generation of events managers, fashion designers, dancers, graphic designers, illustrators, photographers, visual effects artists, textile and interior designers.

Madding Crowd is Bournemouth’s premier live music venue and the perfect environment for helping the freshers experience Bournemouth’s vibrant indie music scene.

Bournemouth-based Blues-Rock guitarist Mikey Ball & The Company open the evening’s events.
Headliner DD Allen is on stage at 9:30 pm.

The Madding Crowd (MC Allstars) house band, featuring session musicians from the Hoosiers, Eminem, Rhianna, James Bay, and Rag ‘n’ Bone Man play on till late.

Speaking about the show, DD explains:

“I’m excited to play this show. Bournemouth is my hometown. I’ve grown up here, and the town is the influence behind so much of my music. The Arts University is an amazing place and creatives from all over the UK come to study here. It’s great to welcome so many students with a live event."
